And Erick is wonderful. I love pulling him out of his packnplay in the mornings and plopping him on the bed to squirm around and play. He's very curious and loves to touch my face and feel my closed eyes. Not always such a good thing, though, as that translates into wanting to poke all the other kids in the eyes! He is very loving, too, and comes at the other babies with hugs of good intention, but barrels into them, knocking them over. He's turning into the kid who comes into the room and all the moms get on guard.
The two pics are of our trip to the macacamia nut farm. The tour guide is showing us a sheller that drops the nuts down, the wheel turns and crushes the soft outer shell and spits out the nut back into a pile to let the hard inner shell dry and later be cracked. Such a simple piece of equipment and they are teaching farmers to make these even out of bicycle tires. There's your nut tip for the day. We are trying to plan weekly outings like this to help stay sane! :0)

We're keeping you in our prayers. I can only imagine how distant you feel from every one here. We're thinking of you and praying we will all have our children home soon!

LeeAnne...I miss your beautiful face. I guess your son is learning it very well. I told Emily the same also, that we pray for you constantly and cry powerful "grandparent"tears as we both praise and plead before the throne of God. On the day of fasting last week we both read Psalm 112 and 113.Especially 112:2 and 113:7-9. Wow! Read them and feel how mighty our God is. We love Erick and the other boys already and can't wait for Miss Myer to be chasing them around Gateway!!Yeah, what a day that will be. Love, Joann and KC
I sure hope I get this posted right..a little tech challenged!
Thanks for the scripture references JoAnn. Very encouraging. Thank you for fasting and praying. We are so lucky to have a great church filled with people that deeply care for us. Pat
Groundhogs Day? Good analogy! I've been so cranky lately and I really hope it passes soon. I know I don't have to tell you this, but I feel so lucky and blessed to be here with Aeson. I sometimes feel silly for not being happy all of the time. Oh well, let's keep planning the outings...they do help!
Hey LA,
Girl, you have one cute son! I just saw Pat last night and told him I know it is hard, but think of the tremendous story of how God worked so you could have your son! Hang in there and know that you are missed and loved and prayed for daily.
Love,
Parker

Praying for you today. That the God of the Universe will sustain you. I pray that He gives you strength to endure and joy in the moment. I pray you wake up with new mercies and a satisfied heart to embrace all that God has purposed for you life today!!! God has tremendous purpose in the here and now with your life...it just doesn't always feel like it. I totally get your groundhog day analogy.... I pray God gives you a fresh start today and He shows you a glorious piece of His plan for your life. May you feel God walk with you today as you wait on HIM.
